i fixed my problem with this.
i had to fill out the nameserver part of my xboxmediacentre.xml file, i just used my pc's ip address for this.

the script works fine for me (21-08 build), but it hangs halfway while watching a trailer. anyone have the same or a solution? is it a buffer issue? when it hangs it really hangs, so no soft reboot possible.

ditto, for some reason it wasn't using the evox net setting, had to set them manually, now everything works

wow this is such a cool feature!

just a couple of questions. can i increase the cache % before the trailer starts playing, so there isnt quite so many stop-starts?

the latest pm skin includes links in the submenu on the main page to 'watch trailers' and listen to 'web radio' but when i click on them nothing happens, in order to access the aqt browser i have to run the script. is this a feature not yet fully implemented or do i have to change something in order to get these 2 links to work? it's much neater than going to the scripts directory. if you don't know what i am talking about, click on the yellow-highlighted button in the bottom right hand side of the main menu.

make sure that the buttons are hooked up to the scripts correctly.

you need to edit dialogsubmenu.xml in the skin.

make sure that you have aqtbrowser.py in script directory... if you don't have it:
a) copy
b) rename
c) change xml

for those of you looking for a skin that has buttons for all important things, try ( kiddy mayhem skin ) it has script and email button on main window and web radio /kml button in my music window, and movie guide button in my video also my move trailer button in my video.

another thing, i'm running xbmc in 720p mode but when i run this script the background only fills the top left corner of the screen. anyway i can fix this so it fits the whole screen? i'm using the pm aqt skin.

sorry if im being thick, ive read both threads on this app and im still unsure how to get it working, i have copied all the quiicktime 5 codecs to the codec file ive uploaded the latest mplayer.dll, however when i select the aqtbrowser script it just says (running) and then does nothing?? what should i expect it to do where can i get some debug infio?? im using the default xbmc skin, thanks

updated xbmc to the latest version and its now displaying the browser however when i select a trailer to view it just displays a dialogbox and then does nothing ive updated the nameserver to list my laptop but still no joy all the codecs are there as is the latest version of mplayer?? any hekp woul be greatly appreciated i really wanna see this greta script.

a) download mplayer. >> mplayer (unrar in mplayer dir)
b) download codecs. >> codecs (unrar in mplayer/codecs dir)

if you have any problem post it... and post xbmc.log (this file is in xbmc dir)

ive updated with the codecs that you posted however still no success, when i select the trailer i wish to view it just dquickly displays three dialog boxes which are displayed too quick to read anything then it does nothing else? xbmc ver2004-08-18 log -
