Boot XBMC for Xbox of a NAS drive?
#1
Question
Is it possible to boot xbmc off a nas drive? The reason I'm asking is that I have 3 TV's and my dad wants all of them running XBMC. so my question was if you can boot XBMC off of an NAS HDD so that all the xbox's have the same userdata etc... And if not is there a hack possible?

You have more chance of going to mars than that ever happening even if it were possible,
which it isn't...

Do you mean network boot? like via PXE? If so it's an interesting concept. With e.g., PXE your hardware (and BIOS) will need to support network bootstrapping and your NAS will have to be able to host a PXE server. You may also need a rather fast HD, minimum gig Ethernet and lots of RAM. In some cases it may offer advantages over the live build/boot of USB. In most cases I think they would accomplish the same scenario though.
