Possible to delay video start when refresh rate switching?
#1
I've just changed my TV and I connect to the new one through HDMI, with 1080p output (native resolution). I keep XBMC running at 60Hz, and it autoswitches to 24Hz for film material.

So far so good.

The problem is that the TV (a Pioneer Kuro) takes several seconds to bring back an image after the refresh rate switch. More than what XBMC takes to start the video.

Is it possible to add a delay before the video actually gets played?

Ok, maybe this should have been posted in "Feature Suggestions". I just didn't know if I was missing an advanced setting somewhere (I checked the Wiki) or if it was simply lacking.

Btw, damn HDMI and the whole HDCP handshaking procedure.
