I want to first say thanks for all the hard work on this awesome product. I loved XBMC on xbox and now I'm loving it more on AppleTV. I have just one issue with my AppleTV XBMC setup.

SUB/IDX subtitles are not displayed correctly.

When using sub/idx subtitles with various divx/xvid files I get the following results;
Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005) - A system freeze when starting subtitles in the middle of the movie. The screen says paused but never starts playing again.
A Civil Action (1998).idx - Error: XBMC/Boxee exited with status: 11 displays on the screen.
Mutant Chronicles (2008) - Subtitles display on the screen however it displays the same line over and over again. The timings and placement are correct however the text keeps repeating itself and is of course inaccurate.

I have many movies with sub/idx files and have never had one of them display correctly.

I did, I came across this, http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=50092 which made it seem like it was not a known issue but then EMKO made it seem like it was. I have never made a tracking ticket so I'm not sure how to procede from this point.

It was a typo - AKA a proofreading problem. Wow.

tested - subtitles works indeed!! Tried few movies and timing is spot on, no more overlapping etc.

Finally my Apple TV now works like old xbox and then some!

I guess from now on no more updates for me, you know, just in case.

By the way, while testing subtitles managed to crash xbmc with error 10 after which it exited back to Appple OS. Restarted XBMC and all is fine.

Sweet, looks like it made it into 9.04.1. I haven't tried it yet as I'm on a business trip away from my aTV but I'm excited to get home now. Man my life is sad if that's why I'm excited to get back.

Yes, I agree, subtitles shouldn't make you homesick. But I am excited to try them out myself.
