Hi all,

a few days ago a friend of mine showed his MediaPortal-based HTPC to me. He didn't impress me too much but for a Wikipedia plugin.

Is it possible to code a plugin for XBMC which shows Wikipedia pages?
Does anyone agree with me that such a plugin would be useful?

And is there anyone here who knows how to do it and doesn't know what to do in his free time?

Looks better, but still doable - I don't see any problems in parsing the Wikipedia search result page, presenting the text, getting the links and images and navigating them. I'm sure someone will find the time and commitment to do this for XBMC, thanks for bringing this up.
