I'd like to see a kernel upgrade from 2.6.28 to 2.6.29 in de next LIVE build, with the included drivers for FireDTV/FloppyDTV from DigitalEverywhere.
http://www.digital-everywhere.com/en/alc....php?start
With these drivers we can use the liveTV feature of tvheadend together with XBMC.

The DVB-C version of this card is about the only card that can be used for the Dutch cable companies. So I think alot of Dutch people will use this.
[LIVE] Kernel upgrade with FireDTV drivers and TVheadend for the next XBMC Live?

We don't really mess with the base system so this won't likely happen until ubuntu goes to 2.6.29. AFAIK you can do all the tvheadend stuff on a server (which you can update the kernel on as you see fit) elsewhere and you your XBMC box as a client now though.
