[RELEASE] Luemmel's DVD-Ripper (Script) for Linux, Mac, and Windows
I guess I found the bug with a little help from external side.

Thanks fabrice

I made a commit a few moments ago .....

http://code.google.com/p/swiss-army-knif...tail?r=485

Please replace your current dvd-chapter.sh with the file from the above link.
I guess it will run fine .-) I still have 2 errors that prevent the offical release 0.6.19.

Regards
Hans

AVATAR Is just fine as a DVD but as a BLURAY it presents a milestone ,-)

I did a svn commit that fix issue 22 if you set your default language to french ;-)

Thank you Hans for looking into this in such short notice, I made the change but I am waiting for a transcode to finish. I am checking all options to see if they are working. Transcoding to small mkv container sure does take some time, although Avatar is going to be around 1.12GB which is a much smaller rip. Smile Time or space, whichever is important to you, my little ION2 is working its butt off right now. (98-100% on a four cores per htop)

As soon as this is done (81% currently per Progress Bar), I will test and report back.

EDIT: Fixed, works great! Thank you Hans

There is one last issue (17) with makemkv and dvd-chapter.

It was easy to fix and I have by now a allmost complete release 0.6.19 to publish.

Today I fixed the issue 17 with one little exception.

Release 0.6.19 is soon ready.

@stolek5

Sorry to say no ....
I don't have the resources to develop a release for windows and linux.
The Python Code would be easy to change, but the linux shell scripts are to complex for a porting to windows.

Stolek, join the dark side - come to Linux. If you are messing with XBMC, there is a whole world of goodness out in Linux land. Big Grin Seriously though, download a live CD of Ubuntu and play with it. You could even run up a VM (Virtualbox is good) on your doze machine and install Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian whatever.) Won't hurt your box and gives you something to play with.

Have fun.

Tried installing the Luxeria repository from both the zip file and through the repository installer add on. At no stage does it come up with any errors but it just never appears as an option within XBMC.

I'm sure it's something simple that I am missing but does anyone have any suggestion?

I'm running XBMC on Ubuntu 10.10

OK I tried as well ...
There is something wrong ....

Try to install the zip over addon-manager directly.

1. Use the following file :

http://swiss-army-knife.googlecode.com/f...032011.zip

Donwload it anywhere where you access it from xbmc

Install this zip.

I wonna have a closer look the repository on weekend.
