I was inspired by the hard work of Reaven (allowed me to include his ClearArt mod), Anoobie, jsm00thie & Marcin77 (on the trailer mod and font work), because I wanted to make this mod but it was impossible without their hard work, so a BIG thank you guys, not to forget the person who made the stock image for backdrops, whoever you are.

I love the night themed multiplex, but thought everything lacked that same deep sheen, so here is what I came up with for myself and thought I'd share for those who like it. So I present to you:

Installation Notes:

Extract mod to Aeon Auriga directory.

Extract transparent icon & case packs to Aeon directory also.

Extract ClearArt starter pack folder to Aeon/Media for ClearArt support.

Reaven's ClearArt Mod for ClearArt specific help.


Extrathumbs Slideshow:

If you are using the plot view and only have two thumbnails for a movie leave them in the extrathumbs folder as usual. To enable the slideshow you must place half of them in a new folder named '1', and another named '2' inside the extrathumbs folder.

Known Issues:

Thick panel not working in TV Multiplex view. Let me know if you can help fix it.

but i have the problem that the background isnt transparent anymore.. any idea why that is so?

Glad you like it.

Hmm can you post a screenshot ? It should be ok once the night theme is enabled from the top menu and the panel is set to thin.

could you maybe get the font size of the plotline a ltille bit bigger so that the second line isnt visible before fading?

I'll try but I haven't got much code knowledge, still learning. I'm pretty sure it's done from the font.xml somewhere. I'll have a mess around with it and if I can't I'll ask Marcin77 to have a look at it, because this has been annoying me too.

In the meantime a workaround I have is to open your media manager like MIP or Ember Media Manager and edit the tagline for the movie to make it sorter. On IMdb they have alternate taglines for all the movies if you select "More.."

For example:
