If I press ctrl-alt-f1 while xbmc is running, I just get a blinking cursor. I have to exit xbmc to get to a shell.
Is there a way of bringing up a shell without quitting xbmc?
Thanks
How to bring up terminal, console, shell?

I'm going to assume you're on about Live, since you didn't specify... Pretty sure xbmc is launched from tty1. Try tty2, I dunno if the extras are disabled or not.
Howto post your problem in a useful manner. #xbmc-linux on FreeNode XBMC online-manual, FAQ, search, forum rules, how to submit a bugreport. |

Yep, crtl-alt-F2 took me to the shell and crtl-alt-F7 took me back to xbmc. ![]() Thanks BTW, I am using the svn I d/l 2 days ago. |
