I created this ticket.

It got closed and I don't understand why.
All I want is "." 's to be removed from foldernames if they are at the end as this creates locked folders on windows based systems.
2. It seems color space conversion is not available in xbmc (pc levels<->tv levels). Is it possible to get such a feature? All my movies look rather dark on my tv. Using "overlay" is not something I want to do because of the degraded quality.
On my previous htpc I used CoreAVC to decode hd content, and It had auto detect for color levels.
Any help is appreciated.
