library function on APTV
#1
Ok this will sound like a stupid question but how do you get the library function working on XBMC on a APTV. I've been in settings and it is enabled but it just doesn't seem to work.
Also I have set up IMDB to scrape info down but that doesn't seem to work either.
I know it's me but I need a step by step idiots guide to get these working.
I have loaded all the films onto the APTV.

Any help much appreciatedSad

Library mode is real simple.

1. Use the Context menu on a folder of movies to Set Content.
2. Configure it correctly.
3. Context menu on the same folder to Scan.

You'll need to detail what it is you've done, and look into getting a debug log and the like while attempting to scan for us to be of any help to you.

Cheers,
Jonathan

Cheers Jonathan,
I got the libiary working. How do you do the automatic scraping from IMDB? Do you need a individual foldwer for each film?

In order to get things into the library it's already scraped from _somewhere_, right? It used whatever website you told it to when you Set Content.

Check out the documentation, in your case look at the last paragraph here:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Set_Content_...Library%29

You will have to check the naming conventions and then decide to either rename your movie filenames or foldernames if you store movies in seperate folders (what I personally recommend).
