Hello,
may someone could provide me with an suggestion wich hardware would be
good to go for an Win XBMC setup capable to use auto refresh and no probs
on 1080p material, specially older mkv´s ...
currently i use 2 boxes running amd 780g chipsets with EE X2 5200 cpu´s
on matx boards ...
most 1080p running smooth, some still getting async after some playback
time etc etc ... when switching display to 720p playback is always fine ...
auto refresh doesnt work at all, tested on samsung and phillips LCD wich
both work with mediaportal and ps3 adjusting refresh rate ...
so i probably need a better cpu and a different gfx chipset for my issues
currently both boxes are almost total quiet wich is a must for me
anyone here may have an idea if intel cpus can handle the decode better
then AMD cpu´s cause i thought the 5200 should be enough but ...
or if an nvidia chipset with integrated gfx unit already would help ...
