New Weather Screen & Home Screen Forecasts
To get the new Weather forecasts for home and the weather screen you will first need to have installed the
"Weather.com Plus" Plugin (Nuka1195).You can download and install the "Weather.com Plus"
Plugin using the SVN Repo Installer, once installed go to settings-->weather-->Weather plugin and
pick "Weather.com Plus" so XBMC knows to run it as the default Weather plugin.

then go to the Weather Screen move up,down,left or right to popup the menu and pick next 10 days..

CF2009. would you make the submenu an option to use the old style or new? This way hitcher can integrate it in his mod and pick the old style or if others users want they can use the new submenu

I was wondering if you maybe had a trick up your sleeve for getting the totals to come up for items added as main menu links from favorites? I have been working on it a little, but I'm very new to most of this so I figured I would just ask. I separated all the anime and regular tvshows by genres and added the addition query and fields into extra.py. I edited the label2 tags in includes_Submenu.xml for the TV Shows portion (just to test it out) to make sure the count was getting passed through properly and the Anime episode count was showing up correctly. So currently the anime specific query is getting pass properly with animeEpisodes.Count, animeEpisodes.Played and animeTVShows.Count.

I guess now my problem is I don't know how to point the new menu items I made with Home customization to pop up with that totals info like TV Shows, Movies, and Music already do. Any help you can provide will be most appreciated. Thanks for an awesome mod btw!

That needs the Weather.com Plus plugin but it only works for US locations.

normally i never have to correct you, but:



(funny btw: it translates everything, all the weekdays'n'shit, but NOT today.. haha.)

hit return/select/ok when focussing the weather item, press UP and select 10 day forecast from the option submenu:



and yes, it's true: 10 days is not available in the home submenu - only in the weather page itself, which makes sense, since it won't fit on the home screen.

Ok so I ended up fixing my own problem with the configuration of the totals. Thanks again for making a very helpful mod!

Is it possible to have Multiplex view for the new menu item I've created in the home screen?

edit: nvm, I figured it out, I was linking to files as opposed to genres.

is it possible to add a playlist to a submenu and view it from there? i've created a "HD" playlist that contains all 720p + films. if i add this to the movies submenu using this mod instead of opening the playlist for viewing it just starts playing it, is there any way around this as i want to use the playlist to browse though my HD collection

is this doable?

it looks like the iPlayer starts then just stops so i'm going to say it's a iPlayer thing,
but i will have to have a play on my mac to see if it's a mac thing.....

any look, i have even tried your mod with just the latest AURIGA
skin and it just crashes. here's what i have done.

install the iPlayer plugin from repro.
add iPlayer to favourites
add iPlayer to TVSHOWS sub menu
try to go and run iPlayer from new submenu item.

i get the dialogue window saying iplayer loading briefly then BOOM.

i have added the ,return to my mod but it will not work for links to folders (file mode) it's a xbmc thing.....

does not seem to work for plugins either

is there anyway you could launch the plugins or scripts added to favourites as runscript instead of activatewindow ?

it is odd as it runs fine on my mac-mini and XP pc, have you had a go at adding it to the main menu to see if it works?

return works fine at this end for plugins and scripts..
scripts have to use runscript as it the only way to run them and plugins have to use activatewindow so not much i can do there.....

i do not think i'm going to add that option any time soon, but if you would like it have a look at andyblac skin mod as he has added it

It's a pitty xbmc loads without any background and is getting stuck in moving the menubar... the rss ticker works only.

It becomes very hard to keep track of all modified files with all those xml editing. For this I backed up my original AEON folder and copy/past + overwrite your files... doens't work for me

Did anyone else have this problem? I'm seeing it. I've used the latest github Aeon (as a fresh Aeon folder), (with fonts), downloaded the Home Customization latest version and installed the files in the relevant directories. Its exactly as described above, the menu bar appears to be stuck and I can't navigate....but I can press 'S' and bring up that menu and the RSS feed is working.....oh, and no navigation sounds either....any thoughts for a quick fix, or do I need a clean XBMC install? (its the latest SVN, by the way)
