I want to use Arialuni.tff as the subtitle font for "XBMC Live" to be able to view Japanese, Korean, and Thai subtitles. What should I do? Where should I put the font file? I cannot locate where the default font (arial.ttf) is placed.

I tried renaming the file "arialuni.ttf" to arial.ttf and putting in dotXBMC\media\Fonts but nothing happens.

Is there any solution for using other fonts for subtitles in XBMC Live ?

try put the font to /usr/share/xbmc/media/Fonts

sorry to bump...

i installed this font with no problems on my old xbox running xbmc, but now that i'm using live arialuni.ttf doesn't display properly.

when viewing japanese, the hiragana shows up but none of the kanji. also i can't adjust size or position of the subtitles when using this font. so weird.

suggestions?

EDIT: nevermind, realised my font file was corrupt.
