That's to bad. I think it's a relly good skin but it needs work done.
No one planning to take over the development?

I would suggest checking out Transparency, set it to horizontal menu bar and you have a superb Horizonz type skin that has load of bells and whistles that Horizonz was missing.

I don't think that's the case as such, it just so happened that Aeon was released and a lot of people just kinda lost interest. :/
