I just got a new laptop, and want to share files with my desktop.
Since my XBOX is using my ETHERNET port, I thought I could use this USB adapter that adds an Ethernet port. Would that work?
What kind of cable would I use to connect them? Crossover or Regular?
Then could I see files from both computers in Windows Explorer?
Then, could my XBOX see files on the laptop?
It would go like this:
LAPTOP > Desktop > Xbox
Is it possible to connect a laptop to a desktop, the the desktop to the XBOX?

I think what you want is a network switch.
