Hi Guys,
I used to have this problem on the XBOX. I just installed XBMC windows and the first thing I tested was this and it's still happening.

So I have 10 Music videos in a folder, some are in .avi, some are in mpeg, mp4, wmv, etc.

When I play the first one and it plays thru, when xbmc switches to the next one in line, I get a black screen, I still have audio. If I press, the Display button on the remote (toggles between now playing an video), then the picture returns.

Any ideas?

Dell M70 2GB RAM (Brand new build only XBMC installed)

So in the log file you'll see I played to .mpg music videos. The first played and displayed fine. The second started playing right after the first ended but I only got sound and a black screen. If I switch to the "now Playing" list and back, the video shows. If I move my mouse over the black screen of the video, the transport control gui shows but still no video.
