XBMC on Windows 7 RC French X86 windows updated.

Build 21923 and 21925 crashes nothing in xbmc.log (Stop at : 15:00:30 T:2484 M:1073741823 NOTICE: Running the application...)
(even if i start a fresh install).

Build 21866 Works.

first of all:

I absolutely love this software ...the best of its kind i have ever used !

But I got same problem as Tolriq on my system

Windows 7 RC 1 german updated.
C2D E8500
4 GB RAM
XFX GeForce 9300 / nForce 730i Driver Version 185.85
no optical Drive but 24in1-multicardreader
XBMC in portable Mode

since rev21914 all newer svns builds incl. latest, rev21930, of xbmc crash on startup.

I´ve activated debug log and installed rev 20930.

With Mediastream set as Skin the following error messages are written in xbmc.log

@Tolriq: have you tried Rev21908? It´s latest working on my system expect crashing on homescreen when selecting "music".

I meet this problem too. xbmc crashes at startup. but can't find error message in log file.

r21908 can stratup well, but when I select music in home page, it crashes too.

No did not try the 21908 i'm usualy far away the week for work :p

And effectively no optical drive in this machine.

got same problem for me with rev 21908.

Hmm getting same thing ie crashing when select music on home screen and have no optical drive either. Might try installing Daemon tools and try creating a fake drive!

EDIT: Yep can confirm it is a no optical drive issue, installed latest svn and daemon tools to create drive and it works fine, disabled daemon tools and it crashes again!!

It works almost 100% of this...

but somehow I can't use subs... they don't show... I select then and nothing occurs on last build xbmc
