hi everyone, i'm desperately trying to increase the recently added movies from 25 to 50 on win xp xbmc.

i've followed the example in the manual on:

and created the xml in userdata as instructed as per manual 8th line:

the file is as follows:

<advancedsettings>
<videolibrary>
<recentlyaddeditems>50</recentlyaddeditems>
</videolibrary>
</advancedsettings>

i've checked the log, the file loads, but it still only shows 25 recently added movies. i've copied it in the userdata folder as per win xp instruction but still won't work

i don't understand. i ran the updater but it still gives me the same rev number as before.

i'm looking online but it seems the win xp download is the same filename as the one i already have. 83mb
