i think i'm just going to remove the rss feed entirely.
it looks out of place anywhere on the home screen.

i understand that some people like it, but it really doesn't work well with this skin.
yes it can be disabled, but it is there by default.

jazkal, you can always add it to home.xml yourself if you really want it.

why don't you put the time in the bottom left where it belongs?

you can find the others here:
http://mediaportal.sourceforge.net/ssmce.html

i did the original xml's for this skin, samsonite the graphics.

there wasn't enough room.

the space underneath the amount of objects text is unusable because of potential overscan issues.
i can't move all of the items on the page up to make room for the same reason on the top.

if i remove the "record" button (does anyone use it?), and decrease the amount of buttons on the "my programs" screen i could probably fit the musicoverlay stuff down there where it belongs.

it will be great, if you add ttf support for ui.
you can add font sets for ttf font on your font.xml.

with different size of font, characters on the menu and button are not vertically aligned. they are always on the top.

thanks

pin87a, you are awesome. this is the best looking xbmc skin ever.
:kickass:

what would it take to make this default skin for future builds of xbmc? project mayhem is nice and all, but this really looks like a media center application. so, who do we need to bribe?

a few updates:

- fixed button text offset on pal displays (stupid typo Tongue)
- changed small icon view so it displays 12 icons instead of 8.
- removed the rss feed from the home page (it just didn't look right)

updated download link in the original post..

i like it. Big Grin

to give credit where credit is due samsonite and mrmario64 who created the original mediaportal skin are responsible for bringing this skin to life.

i just replaced the images in my "blue swirl" skin and modified the xml to make it work. Smile
