AVI's greyed out
#1
Ok, I'm a noob here, and can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

When I see the listing on my TV of all my videos, every one of my AVI's are greyed out. I've read that xbmc can play avi's - but not for me.

Any help would be appreciated

XBMC never greys out anything in a listing of files.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.

hmmm,

I don't know what to tell you other than they are grayed out.

It might be the device I have to play the avi's.

I own a HMG Pioneer Kuro PDP-5020FD. I do not see the AVI as a compatible format. It states Windows Media Video and all MPEG formats as the compatible formats.

So you are correct, it's my equipment at fault.
