What's the best way to have XBMC automatically start play a video playlist or folder at launch?

My plan is to have Ubuntu startup, auto login and launch XBMC which will then auto start playing a bunch of videos in a folder.

This is for a coffee shop where we have a few TV screens.

I've looked through online docs, app settings, but have no idea so far on how to do it with XBMC.

You could use the http api for this and use something like
