What's the latest on this please, is it possible to hook up a USB CD-drive to the ATV and use as a DVD player with XBMC?

If you are going to be playing DVDs, it would be better to use a USB DVD-drive instead of a USB CD-drive.

My mistake, surely it's for playing DVD's. Will a USB-DVD player work? If so, any suggestions on brands/models?

(For the general reader, of course the ATV has to be USB enabled by e.g. NitoTV)
