Accessing plugin-provided videos from the Video Library

So, with the myriad plugins being rolled-out, I can now gain access to a boatload of TV shows (along with a lot of other content, obviously) that are stored on the Internet, rather than hard drives on my LAN. What I'm wondering is whether there's a way to import a plugin-provided TV series into the XBMC Video Library, obfuscating its origin and merging it with all my other locally-stored TV shows -- with the ability to initiate playback of the TV episodes from the library, as well, of course.
