hello,
i found that my remote does not work after sleep and resume as the lirc module is not beeing loaded correctly after sleep.
what makes me wonder is that if i go to sleep from a gnome session the lirc modules are beeing loaded correclty. is it because xbmc is not running and reconnecting to lircd directly after resume or is it that the acpit scripts are not performed correctly when going to sleep from xbmc ui.
any hints?

According to to google, you can just add a bunch of commands to restart / reload lirc.
