XBMC refuses to run in correct resolution
#1
Im running the latest version from the SVN PPA. Yes i know i shouldn't run the latest version, but i was running the old version before and had the same problem. So it's unrelated to the new problems.

When i boot up i see the XBMC logo for 1 second then my TV says "Videomode not supported". Here's the debug log:

I have tried both the beta driver and the stable driver from NVIDIA.

The last few lines in your log indicate an issue with the Skin Version. See this post for a possible fix:

Other than that I found it odd that your SVN comes up as "Unknown"
It seems you've actually built it today, but please specify when you SVN up to download 22528 this is the most stable (relatively) of the most recent builds and should at least "work."

If it still doesn't work check out the xorg log in /var/log for any indications as to why the video might be changing, and to what it is changing.

Thanks, seems like my problem is related to the r22743 problems after all.... But now i at least have a solution to it.

It properly comes up as "unknown" because it's the SVN PPA's.
