it's possibile, but i don't think is a good feature:
- The scraper is just enough slow with connection to tmdb and imdb, if i add another "external" connection (movieplayer) get movie information become too long...
- The most important reason is always the same problem: i can not sure that the film i match on movieplayer is the same of mymovies beacause i can't have user feedback. same problem for backdrop (tmdb) and imdb info.

hi guys, i have a problem with mymovies scraper since 3 days from now. I have upgraded to eden beta 2 (don't know if it's related to this) and if i add a film in the archive, the scraper fail to download the backdrop from tmdb.
When using other italian film scrapers (like movieplayer for example) it works perfectly.

I have tested now with lastest mymovies.it scraper (on repository) and XBMC pre-11 (compiled nov 20 2011) on linux machine...all work good!

anyone can confirm this issue?

Post a log after refresh some films.

ok, hope this can help! this is the complete debug log since i don't know wich part is usefull for you.
i've made a refresh of a movie that is already in my database (it made the same problem with other titles).

it shows me always no backdrops available even if other info is working fine (include posters).

finaly I have some times for see your log...

The problem is not the scraper, but the function "GetTMDBFanartByIdChain" imported from addon "metadata.common.themoviedb.org" that i use in mymovies.it scraper.

I think this library change in your version, but i can't make needed test beacause in my eden version work good

Can you post the same log but with another (...and working) scraper that support tmdb backdrops.
