Ok i apologize profusely if i'm asking the obvious, but i've been trying to get this working for 2 days now and i'm just about to give up..
first and foremost i'm running os x 10.6.1. SVN build is 22528 ( the latest available from http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/
as of now ). and Aeon is ccMatrix version mentioned here ( i liked the idea of media flags working properly...more on that later ah..ah ) http://www.xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=52581
the menus flicker and disappear when i try to change backdrops which tells me that aeon and XBMC don't play nice. so i'm wondering which svn build should i use? or is it the aeon version that is not up to date? On a related note:
it seems the media flags are mostly working, my problem though is that since i was using front-row as my media center 99% of my movies are movs. and some metadata is gone (for example dts it's not recognized). Short of using a media manager ( i'm on mac and i don't have parallels/fusion..yet) is there a way of manually input the metadata back in the files? Thank You so much..hopefully somebody can give me a hand...
