Hey folks,

had a quick look through the music playlist options, and am curious if XBMC has the ability to build dynamic playlists based on last.fm recommendations .

Mediaportal has something similar , where is submits the current playing artist to the last.fm api, retrieves similar artists, checks your library, and adds to playlist based on this recommendation.

Does this functionality exist within XBMC?

Nope. A patch would be welcome, though I suspect people would want it reasonably flexible so that other backends could be added.
