When I run slideshow it always starts from the first picture. When there are hundreds of pictures in the directory, I can't stop the slideshow and start from the last viewed image. Is it possible to start the slideshow from the image that is not the first one?

Just scroll down to the one you want to start on and context menu -> start slideshow.

Sorry, but this doesn't work for me:
- I select the picture, which is I want to start my slideshow from
- I go to the menu on the left (in the PM3HD)
- I run "start slideshow" option
Slideshow starts always from the 1st img in the folder. When there's 200 images in the folder, such slideshow is not very usable.
I don't see any better "context" menu besides the one I mentioned.
(today I upgraded XBMC towards newest SVN PPA version)

hit 'c'. it's a context menu so obviously you need to give it the proper context
