I wrote a long detailed post to inquire as to an issue I'm having. I registered, activated my account, and after posting, it said it's waiting for a mod to do something or other.

That was a while ago. Now, when I look at my profile, it shows no posts at all.

This is mostly a test.

Probably just akismet flagged your first post as spam. We get to them pretty quickly normally. But, it's the weekend...give us a break!

It is usually because you posted your debug log or some code into the forum without using http://pastebin.com
I'm not saying you necessarily did this, but most of the false-positives from the anti-spam software are from logs.
