Even with the latest version I still had problems. When entering the username and password I click on OK and nothing happens. But By Logging on with xmbc windows and copying the plugin data across as you mentioned in an earlier post, it works.

Many Thanks

changed: login automatically to facebook without opening a browser.

FBXBMC News Feed 0.9 [Beta] - A Program Plugin:
1. Show news feed from facebook, like home page news feed.
2. Allow playing videos from Facebook news feed (even from youtube links)

Download latest versions from:
http://code.google.com/p/facebook-xbmc/downloads/list

am I correct to think it goes here: /E/Apps/xbmc/plugins/programs

the news feed goes under programs, the photo one goes under pictures.

When posting about a problem please submit a debug log to give you the best chance at getting an answer. It's easy, painless, and helps provide necessary information.

Just curious on the Facebook security settings that affect this plugin? I can see most of my friends profile pictures and albums but some I can not. I can look at all of their pictures in firefox or safari, also on my iPod but not in this plugin nor the new Roku channel.

Any ideas what setting it might be?

hi

When I do these two steps(below) I got no "Picture Plugins" option!?!
Please help. And file default.py is also not shown in XBMC.

1.) unzip fbxbmc-photos.zip file into XBMC\plugins\pictures under your home folder.
2.) In XBMC - Go to My Pictures -> Pictures Plugins -> Facebook Photos

hugs,
Kathleen

Have you installed the plugins ? What OS ? Please post full debug log ..

The normal XBMC log IS NOT a debug log, to enable debug logging you must toggle it on under XBMC Settings - System or in advancedsettings.xml. Use XBMC Debug Log Addon to retrieve it.

hi, now it works with pictures. But I'm getting an error with Facebook Feeds; "Error 100" when xbmc is loading folder.

Do you know what could be the problem? Thank you so much!

Kath,
(vista, xbmc 9.11)

request:
would be cool (when viewing 'friends albums') if the names were in alphabetical order (trying to find the one you want is tricky at the mo).

* I also find a problem with the datestamps. Ive disabled datestamps (which show the album creation date). But it isnt taking effect.

I have also been getting the Facebook photo error 100 when trying to use the plugin. I have also noticed that another error appears straight after the other error saying "Script Failed!: Facebook Photos" this is a similar error to one i have been getting with the XBMC ZONE Installer" not sure if it's linked or not.

Here's a link to my log file

Any help would be great.
