XBOX IR Remote on Windows 7 64bit
#1
Hi to everyone.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but so far as the search feature goes, I haven't seen any concrete discussion on how to make the "Original XBOX" remote to work as flawless as it does on a Windows XP 32 bit rig.

The biggest caveat i have encountered is the lack of a driver (signed) to work with Windows 7 without needing to run windows 7 in a special troubleshooting mode.

I hope it's not too much to ask but perhaps someone can fill in the details or perhaps code a signed driver for the XBOX Original Dongle?

happy HTPCing everyone... Smile

I'm seeking XBox IR Win7 drivers as well... in vain so far..

I found "xbcdrc_x64.zip" drivers for Xbox's IR receiver for Vista64. Havn't tried yet, but I quite sure that Win7x64 will not except these.. Have anyone else succesfully installed this?
