Hi all
First time poster here!
Have just installed XBMC and have detected it using my media player downstairs across my network. Only problem is, none of my actual media is being detected. To be clear:
I go to Enable UPnP server and then click on manage picture shares. I then add a media share and browse to a directory which has a load of jpeg photos. However, that director is listed as having (0) Items in it (which I know is not correct). When I try and display these photos, I get to the directory on my player and sure enough, it's empty. I'm sure it's a pretty obvious option I'm missing but could someone tell me how I get UPnP to detect my media.
BTW - it's the same with directories for movies AND music (mp3s) as well.
Any help, much appreciated!
Thanks
DT

Apologies - you're quite right.
I have XBMC 9.04.1 on Windows 7. Running a wireless network through the house. I have a dvico 6600n media player which detects the network. I have managed to get the photos detected but none of the folders for video files display anything. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Couldn't find a similar thread on the forums. DT |
