Installation/Config info???

I downloaded v9.04 and after coping it into the Applications folder I try launching the XBMC and nothing happens. The icon doesn't even make it into the application dock. Also, there are no logs, errors, nada. I search for config file locations and I am not finding any clues. Can someone throw me a dog bone? Thanx.

On which machine are you trying to run?
Intel? ppc?
Which OSX release?

Log file should be here: /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/xbmc.log
