I run XBMC live from USB stick on my Asrock 330. I am streaming movies (both DVD-R and x264) from another PC in the network. It has been working flawlessly for the last week. Today, the system is unbearable slow. Movies are not playable as they are buffering constantly. I have not changed any settings (at least not that I am aware of). When turning on debug logging it shows that the CPU load is only around 25%. Vdapu is enabled.
If I boot the very same PC into Windows 7, playing movies via Media Portal works like a charm. The source is still another PC on the network. The problem is limited to XBMC live.
I really prefer using XBMC live over Windows 7/MediaPortal, so it would be nice if someone could help me figure his out.
