While u are on the way to work on settings.
Why not add a simple feed in settings where u can say i want Power DVD, Zoom player etc as video player .(of course with adding path)

Not going to happen for the next release at least.
We see external players as a temporary workaround only.

external Players are the only chance to give the full HTPC monty.
And as far as I understand Blue Ray support not gonna happen for quite some time.

No ripping them in another format is no solution for me. I need sound in 2 languages (german and english) and in case i want to watch the english sound and my wife wanna watch the movie too the possibility to add german subtitles.

Not saying anything against your original request but... you can definitely remux a Bluray within a MKV container, preserving multiple audio tracks and multiple subtitles.
