XBNE - Metadata/artwork editor for the video database
Hi Vincent,

i've updated from 17.somesthing to 18.4.0.0 and 18.5.0.0 but now xbne is not finding anything in my network folders.

i have stored all my movies under the path smb://VIAL/X/
under maintenance -> Video Sources i have added smb://VIAL/X/ and \\VIAL\X\ but both seem not to work as vaild sources.
From XBMC i can access the files via both paths.

I tried resetting xbne and reinstalling ( deleted everything registry etc.)
After tinkering with every setting for the last couple of days i can not find any errors.

Code:
22:18:32 T:60 M:7093014528 NOTICE: -Msg:Find new Films…(ESC: Cancel) (Recherche1)
22:18:32 T:69 M:7077662720 NOTICE: Liste des Fichier de :C:\Program Files (x86)\xbne\nfo\*.*

Any ideas ?

Hello,
Is that the network is protected by a password?
Can you add a movie on the network manually?

I reinstall OS win 7 pro 64 bit, but nothing changed. I always receive this message

23:04:35 T:01 M:1451253760 ERROR: Impossible to connect DataBase.Myvideos75 Error N.0

if it is the first time it's loading db......I saw. a message in french where it's said that there is a problem with libmysql.dll module or one of its components.....if I right understood.

Confused

i have the same problem as gimalugi. Xbne 18.5.0.0. Xbmc frodo 12.1. Windows 7 64 ultimate. Mysql 5.6

Is there a install guide available in english?

I tried version 18.5.0.0 and it shows all the movies in the database.

I've got pictures/fanart to work by updating it in xnbe and it shows that in xbmc now too. I've set the path of the cache folder to the local windows installation. However, it cannot find the files on the smb part. Weirdly enough i have duplicates in xbne for some movies, while they dont exist in the database (check in mysql database to be sure too) how can i clean up duplicates then?

I have Frodo 12.2 and MySql 5.5 installed using the directions on the XBMC wiki. All my network computers use the database without issues, but XBNE 18.5 is not able to connect to the database and registers the same error listed above "Impossible to connect DataBase.Myvideos75 Error N.0"

Is there any solution to this or a work around that can be used?

For MySQL host make sure you only have the IP, not http://

In my advancedsettings.xml it is setup using the IP which is a static IP on the MySql server. I am also running XBNE on the computer running MySql.

Is this what you meant by http or did you mean some other setting?

No, in XBNE. Under options where you set up the MySQL connection. I also found that I needed to install XBMC on the machine running XBNE.

I have only IP in that field. No http:// and no smb:// or other. I have xbmc on the machine where xbne is installed. Its working on all xbmc-machines but not in xbne.

Search this thread for mysql4wd.dll. The author posted a link for a couple dlls. I put them in the XBNE and system32 directory. Those are the only things I did. I also selected the top option for image database. For that, does it show myvideos75 or myvideos00?
EDIT: Links to the files
libmysql.dll
mySQL4WD.dll

That Worked! Thanks VanillaXtract.

I also downloaded the two files and placed them in both the System32 and XBNE directory and it now loaded the MySql video database and allowed me to make edits.

This loads all videos and uses TMDB and IMDB to grab info.

Is there a way to load info for The Looney Tunes Golden collection or will that not be supported since it is listed on TVDB?

Also for me it works now. I had already tried putting the two files in system 32 and in dll directory inside xbne installation direcoty but nothing......I put them into root direcoty of xbne and now all is right.......it should be better that install program of xbne could put automaticlly those two files in correct directory.........
Many thanks for solution. Cool
