well so far I have to say you have written an excellent program
it is definitely a heavy program for my old laptop to run lol
being used to ember media manager it has taken some time to learn how your program works but aside from a few bumps in the road with me trying to figure things out it is working great
I mainly looked at your program to download trailers and to hopefully easily change the names of my movie files to add more information about the file within the name so hopefully this can accomplish this easily
but again Thank You for your work!

Hi Vincent!
I used this great program in the past but after a re install and using the latest xbmc I can not get it going again. After specifying mysql database it loads the database on startup and immediately shuts down when reaching 100%. this is the log in case you need to have a look. 12:46:29 T:85 M:3155677184 NOTICE: -DEPART PROGRAMME C:\Program Files (x86)\xbne\ 12:46:29 T:85 M:3155689472 NOTICE: -LANGUAGE 2 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182362624 NOTICE: -- RepBase :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\ 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182379008 NOTICE: -- NomFichBase :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\MyVideos60.db 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182370816 NOTICE: -- MySQL :1 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182387200 NOTICE: -- Sél_MediaCenter :1 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182370816 NOTICE: -- Sél_Format_Nfo :1 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182387200 NOTICE: -- Int_Sauve_Nfo :1 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182387200 NOTICE: -MEDIA CENTER = (XBMC) 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182362624 NOTICE: -- Scraper_Nom : 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182379008 NOTICE: -- ScrapCinéPassion :1 12:46:31 T:22 M:3182362624 NOTICE: -- ScrapTheMovieDB :0 12:46:31 T:23 M:3182379008 NOTICE: -- ScrapImDB :1 12:46:31 T:23 M:3182362624 NOTICE: -- ScrapScraper :0 12:46:31 T:23 M:3182379008 NOTICE: -- Scrap_Full_ImDB :0 12:46:31 T:23 M:3182387200 NOTICE: -- Grande_Vignette_Actor_TheMovieDb :0 12:46:31 T:23 M:3182379008 NOTICE: -- VERSION :14.0.0.0 12:46:31 T:30 M:3190611968 NOTICE: -- MySQLBase :34 12:46:31 T:32 M:3190620160 NOTICE: RepBase :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\ 12:46:31 T:32 M:3190620160 NOTICE: NomBase :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\MyVideos60.db 12:46:31 T:32 M:3190620160 NOTICE: Cache :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Thumbnails\Video\ 12:46:31 T:57 M:3193978880 NOTICE: PathGenre :C:\Program Files (x86)\xbne\flags\Genre\ 12:46:31 T:58 M:3193978880 NOTICE: PathStudio :C:\Program Files (x86)\xbne\flags\Studio\ 12:46:33 T:76 M:3201241088 NOTICE: Init RepBase :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\ 12:46:33 T:76 M:3201241088 NOTICE: Init NomBase :C:\Users\media room\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\MyVideos60.db 12:46:33 T:82 M:3204538368 NOTICE: Init Base MySQL OK myvideos60:xbmc@192.168.1.61 12:46:39 T:09 M:3216818176 NOTICE: -- MySQLBase :34 12:46:39 T:91 M:3286142976 NOTICE: -FIN PROGRAMME Edit Hi Vincent! Hello,
Can you try to rename myvideos60 to xbmc_video60. And set "debug mode" to on in options. |

But as I said, it works great through http server, so I am VERY Happy with that! Thanks again for a great program and I will keep an eye out for any updates that may come along! God bless Alfred |

I've just found this very promising program. I want to use it to trim down the genres assigned to individual films (like, say, take a film with Genres Action / Adventure / Comedy / thriller / Sc-Fi, and edit it to Action / Sci-Fi.
When I try to use this program to alter the genres, the changes are applied in the internal database, but they don't get put in the movie.nfo file. I'd like to set them in the nfo file, to make sure if I need to scrape in the future I'll keep my changes. How is this done? |

Yes, I have that ticked, I also have "Also save on mymovie.xml" ticked, which doesn't seem to do anything. I see no mymovie.xml files anywhere.

Hi, I just installed your nice program on my Windows XP SP3 laptop as I would like to manage my xbmc video collection located on an ubuntu server. I cannot get XBNE to load anything. XBMC is certainly accessible via http, as I can use its web interface from my laptop. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,
HTML mode no longer works very well since the last version of XBMC. Rather uses a MySQL server. |

I browsed this thread and I kind of understood that I should point Xbne to the \userdata directory. I did it and It started to load the database. Xbne hangs though...I am struggling to get it to work. Is there any manual? I was not able to find it. Any suggestion for a newcomer? Is there a way to reset the path to the database and to avoid that it loads automatically at startup? I am not able to exit this loop and to start from zero again... Apologies for my inexperience. Thank you! |
