[LIVE] I need help updating XBMC Live (USB)

Hi guys

I'm getting desperate and I really need your help.

i've downloaded the XBMC Live .iso (9.04.1), burned it to a cd, booted from the cd and installed to a USB/Flash stick, when booting from USB, XBMC starts just fine, but here's my problem, I'd like to update XBMC, with newest drivers, skins and such. I've read quite a few guides on how to do this, but...

Step 1: Start XBMC and go into settings/network and look at what its current IP address is & make a note of it.

When looking in setings/network in XBMC Live, i can see no IP address, the IP address box is empty and grayed out, I've tried somehow activating it without any luck, I even tried downloading the .iso, burning a new cd, installed the new iso to my USB/Flash stick and so on with the same result :-(

Can any of you please help me, what am I doing wrong?

I think your in the wrong sub-forum, as for the problem it sounds like XBMC Live doesn't support your network adapter hence the reason its not activating well thats my guess.
