Aus der Vielzahl von Open-Source-Projekten weltweit erhalten einige besonders spannnende, innovative Projekte die Gelegenheit, ihre Arbeit einem breiten Publikum vorzustellen. Hierzu stellt die Linux New Media AG gemeinsam mit der CeBIT kostenlosen Standplatz zur Verfügung. Außerdem werden die Projekte auf den Medienportalen http://www.linux-magazin.de und http://www.linux-magazine.com einem internationalen Publikum vorgestellt.
Die Spielregeln für den Call for Projects CeBit Open Source 2010:
Voraussetzungen:
Das Projekt sollte interessierten Besuchern in griffiger und informativer Weise seine Inhalte und Ziele vorstellen.
Es sollte eine klare Vorstellung davon haben, wie Besuchern Inhalt und Thema des Projektes verständlich dargestellt werden kann.
Der Stand muss während der gesamten Zeit der Ausstellung mit Projektmitgliedern besetzt sein, die aufmerksam auf die Besucher zugehen.
Der Messestand muss, beginnend mit der Eröffnung, während der gesamten Zeit der Ausstellung vollständig aufgebaut und ausgestattet sein.
Das Projekt sollte in seiner eigenen Community in geeigneter Weise auf die Teilnahme an der CeBIT Open Source 2010 hinweisen.
Das Projekt sollte die Öffentlichkeit über seine Teilnahme an der CeBIT Open Source informieren (Hinweis auf der Webseite, Pressemeldungen).
Entscheidungskriterien:
Eine international besetzte Jury, benannt von der Linux New Media, wird jede einzelne Bewerbung nach den eingereichten Informationen und öffentlichen Quellen beurteilen, eventuell finden zusätzliche Gespräche statt. Deshalb ist es wichtig, das mit der Bewerbung Ansprechpartner benannt werden und eventuell zusätzliche Projektverantwortliche.
Wichtige Kriterien für die Projektauswahl:
Nur nicht-kommerzielle Projekte mit einem starken Bezug zu Linux oder Open Source erhalten einen gesponsorten Messestand.
Die Vitalität und Aktivität der hinter dem Projekt stehenden Community spielt eine große Rolle.
Das Projekt sollte Bezug zu Themen haben, die in Wirtschaftsunternehmen von Interesse sind.
Das Projekt soll innovativ und neuartig sein.
Das Projekt muss die Teilnahme mit ausreichend Personen an der gesamten Dauer der Messe glaubhaft versichern.

Die Jury wählt bis 30. November aus den Bewerbern die Gewinnerprojekte; diese werden von Linux New Media kontaktiert. Falls ein ausgewähltes Projekt trotz Nominierung für eine Teilnahme nicht geeignet erscheint, behält sich der Verlag vor, entsprechenden Ersatz aus der Gewinnerliste zu wählen.

Call for Projects - CeBIT Open Source 2010 From the multiplicity of open SOURCE projects some particularly clampingend, innovative projects keep the opportunity world-wide to present their work to a broad public. For this Linux new Media makes AG available together with the CeBIT free location. In addition the projects on the medium portals http://www.linux-magazin.de and http://www.linux-magazine.com are presented to an international public. The rules for the call for Projects CeBit Open Source 2010: Conditions: The project should present in handy and informative way its contents and goals to interested visitors. It should have a clear conception of how contents and topic of the project can be understandably represented to visitors. The conditions must be occupied with project members during the entire time of the exhibition, that go attentively toward the visitors. The exhibition booth must be, with the opening, during the entire time of the exhibition completely developed and equipped beginning. The project should refer in its own Community in an appropriate way to the participation to the CeBIT Open Source 2010. The project should inform the public about its participation to the CeBIT Open Source (reference on the web page, press releases). Decision criteria: An internationally occupied jury, designated of Linux new Media, will judge each individual application by the submitted information and public sources, takes place possibly additional discussions. Therefore it is important, that with the application partner to be designated and possibly additional project responsible person. Important criteria for the project selection: Only non-commercial projects with a strong purchase to Linux or Open Source receive a gesponsorten exhibition booth. The Vitalität and activity of the Community standing behind the project play a large role. The project should have purchase to topics, which are in business enterprises from interest. The project should be innovative and new. The project must insure the participation with sufficiently persons on the entire duration of the fair convincingly.


Application period: Until at the latest 20 November 2009 The jury selects the winner projects until 30 November from the applicants; these are contacted by Linux new Media. If a selected project does not appear suitable despite nominating for a participation, the publishing house reserves itself to select appropriate replacement from the winner list.
