Oh exactly what I was looking for! Thanks! It works flawlessly on my win xmbc, but it would be nice to be able to open each individual message and see the content on several rows instead of one.

Also, a global notification when a message is received would be awesome.

Seeing the entire message is a limitation of Gmail and atom, we only get the "summary" of the message.

Global notification can be done but that means that you will need to run the script at boot, and have it check every so often, and when new mail arrives it will notify you.

I will see what I can do.

Zeljko

I found it a bit hard to get access to main xbmc-addons repository, that's why I started my own repository in the first place... I did suggest a few times that XBMC.org web interface should change and allow people to upload their addons in there (ZIP), pretty much like other websites allow (e.g. XBMCZone.com) and have a main XBMC installer that retrieves the information from the repository in XML format (faster). I find SVN Repo Installer quite slow to go through the 50 addons in the video section for example... I even volunteered to contribute to such a feature, but I guess XBMC Team has that on a lower priority. I understanda though there is an addons-framework in progress (http://xbmc.org/donj/2009/10/27/xbmc-get...mment-8520).

Hi!

TNX for the script. I will test it on XBOX and will report back.
It would be also nice to have an option, so the script can checks for the emails in the background (while watching movies or listening to the music) and warn you when a new mail arrives (like XinBox warns you with 'you have new mail'). http://rapidshare.de/files/47269573/XinBox_i4.rar.html

Later on POP and SMTP would be also nice or. even exchange support Wink

Cheers
