[Web Interface Addon] [Eden] XWMM - XBMC Web Media Manager
@Klug

Not yet... we will hope slash gets going with bug fixes sometime soon.

@gnrtool82

No idea what you are talking about, be more specific and provide better information.

In the Files section in XWMM, there are the directories that are linked to xbmc. I have a folder called Movies. The column Path shows a green check mark for each of these folders. However, when I open the triangle to open the folder, the individual movies are shown with red circle with a line through, indicating the Path isn't right/not scraped. Why is this happening

Hi there,

My apologies in advance for such a noob question, but I've searched and can't seem to find the answer.

I've installed the v3.0.1frodo version of xwmm using the "install from zip file" method.
I've confirmed that my V12.2 Frodo XBMC shows the add-on as enabled.

However, when I try to access the site via URL, the default XBMC site works: http://<IP>:port

But when I try to use http://<IP>:port/xwmm/index.html I keep getting "file not found"

Is this the correct URL?

I've hunted for documentation but was unable to find any. Thanks in advance for your help.

Therse work depending on your setup

open your browser to http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port> < Not Local

open your browser to http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port>/XWMM/index.html <When other webinterfaces are installed in machine but not selected.

and

open your browser to http://localhost:<port>/XWMM/index.html < Local host

open your browser to http://127.0.0.1:<port>/XWMM/index.html < You been pawned this is locahost too but works also

Use firefox make sure ADB is not blovking anything.

Dont use IE

Untested in chrome.
Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I'm using Firefox.
No, those first two URLs behave as I mentioned in my post:

http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port> --> takes me to the default XBMC web interface, which has four buttons in the top right....Remote, Movies, TV Shows, Music....but does not show the XWMM interface

http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port>/XWMM/index.html --> just says "file not found" in the browswer window.

have I done something wrong on the install (although not sure how I could have), and I don't know of any other settings to be adjusted. Also, I thought I might be able to uninstall/disable the "default" web interface, but that option is greyed out in XBMC.

No idea what I've done wrong...seems like such a straightforward setup.

Just to be sure...the port number, user ID and password are the values in XBMC services-->webserver section right?

Not sure if this is relevant, but I'm running XBMC on Windows 7.

Thanks again for your help!
fbiancol,

Have you cleared the browsers cache?
Sometimes you may need to clear the browsers cache when switching between web interfaces.

XBMC Web Control Interface - https://github.com/mthiels/webinterface.xrc
Ok figured it out. It was a combination of things:

1. In the "Services" page in XBMC, under "WebServer" I had to change the default web interface to XWMM
2. I had to close and restart the browser...

Thanks everyone!
Fabio
Hi everyone....I'm new to XBMC and have most things working well. I have done everything required to get XWMM working but still get the "file not found" in firefox after logging into http://myip:myport/XWMM/index.html. Running XBMC 12.3 using XWMM 3.0.1 Frodo.zip.

Any ideas. Should I be using a different build of XWMM?

Thanks in avance
Welcome to forums

What browser you using?
Haven't checked all the pages in this thread but hoping someone can point out something obvious I haven't done for this to work.

I am running xbmc 12.2 with the transparency skin. To give some examples I have my media setup as follows:

H:\Movies
The Avengers (2013)\The Avengers (2013).avi

H:\TV
Time Team
Season 1\Time.Team.S01E01.avi

In xbmc I have my movies source set to include the root movies folder "H:\Movies" Then set for movies in separate folders that match the movie title and to scan recursively. The TV Shows source is set to include the root "H:\TV" the [b]not[/b[] set for selected folder contains a selected tv show.

When I access the database in my web browser the movies section works 100%, however the tv show section fails to load anything. It just shows the ui with empty sections as if I did not have a tv show part of my database.

Is there anything obvious that will cause this? Should I be setting each folder to have a single show in xbmc?
New fixes

Frodo 3.0.2
Gotham 4.0.1

Fixes
  1. Fix allow UI to update on sets
  2. Fix mark as watched.

To all developers, thank you for your continued work, especially at fyfe for his rewrite which likely will be new master.

My sentiments exactly! And let's not forget uNiversal for coordinating all of this!
Hi there,

I tried to change a title and the description of some tvshows, but the changes were not saved. Is there a bug?

Thanks in advance for some help.

Stefan
