I'm trying to get my NTFS Passport External USB HDD to get recognized in AppleTV

Ive read things here and there, and it looks you should be able to READ NTFS in ATV, but not WRITE...

Well when I plug in the drive to my ATV, it doens't recognize it?

Is there anything special I need to do?

I search the forums and didn't find too much on this topic, and searched online and found these:

But ill be honest, that sounds all sorts of confusing! Is there an easier way to do this? How?

Nevermind... I just decided to convert the drive to FAT32 :\
