I'm running a Atv with the latest stable XBMC and I have my movies on a Windows 7 pc.

To access my movies through xbmc it wants me to put in a user name and password. So what I did was create a user xbmc with password xbmc and I can add the content to xbmc. The problem I'm having right now is when I turn off my Atv and go back to watch a movie it says the file doesn't exist. I end up having to go back and putting in the user and password again to let xbmc access my content.

Is they're a way to have xbmc store the user and password or access my movies without having to type in a password?

For some reason with windows 7 I have to use a password even though I have the password protection sharing turned off in the settings on the computer.

thanks
