Using the latest xbmc build "XBMC_for_Windows-9.04.1-repack2" on Win 7 Ultimate x64, Ati x1950pro with newest drivers for win 7 x64
I have figured out a lot of things: How to run XBMC on second display, importing movies, even updated the IMDB scraper, set up my movies and TV series how I like them, etc.
I have my TV connected with an S-Video cable and I am having problems with screen flickering.
I also figured out why:
My display are set as 1280x1024 60Hz main display and 1024x768 25Hz interlaced TV
When using XBMC in Fullscreen mode the resolution and refresh rate set inside the app must match the resolution and refresh rate of the display in question or else there will be flickering.
Now, how can I force XBMC to display 1024x768 25Hz interlaced as that option is not available in the "Appearance" settings
Setting this option to AUTO, NTSC 4:3 or PAL 4:3 does not do the trick.
Also when switching to fullscreen on the second display the resolution of the main display will change to the one set in XBMC.
