Currently my movies are listed as "MovieTitle [Rating] [Year].avi" (been using the 360 to play movies was trying to cram some extra info in) and they were split into folders by genre (done manually)

I am switching away from the 360 and using XBMC on a HTPC.

I just used Ember to create folders for each file to try to move towards the standard naming structure like this:

\Movies\
—-\MovieTitle\
—— MovieTitle.mkv
—— folder.jpg
—— fanart.jpg
—— movie-trailer.flv
—— title.nfo


My plan was to leave my files titled as is for now and just change the the name of the folders (then I can use folder name for scraper) I had a couple of questions about this.

1. Should I leave the year in the folder name to help with movie remakes?
2. Is there an easy way to edit the folder names at once? Like telling something to remove the [Rating] part? (if not can it be done with the file names?)
3. Before I spend a lot of time (assuming I have to do them 1 at a time) is there any big reason I should not take this approach?
