Anyone have a Emprex 3009URF MCE RC?
OK, you might need my Lircmap.xml as well. Create it with the following contents and put it in userdata.

Code:
<lircmap>
    <remote device="devinput">
        <!-- new kernel-based lirc button names -->
        <power>KEY_POWER</power>
        <record>KEY_RECORD</record>
        <pause>KEY_PAUSE</pause>
        <stop>KEY_STOP</stop>
        <reverse>KEY_REWIND</reverse>
        <play>KEY_PLAY</play>
        <forward>KEY_FASTFORWARD</forward>
        <skipminus>KEY_PREVIOUS</skipminus>
        <start>KEY_PROG1</start>
        <skipplus>KEY_NEXT</skipplus>
        <back>KEY_EXIT</back>
        <info>KEY_INFO</info>
        <left>KEY_LEFT</left>
        <right>KEY_RIGHT</right>
        <up>KEY_UP</up>
        <down>KEY_DOWN</down>
        <select>KEY_OK</select>
        <volumeplus>KEY_VOLUMEUP</volumeplus>
        <volumeminus>KEY_VOLUMEDOWN</volumeminus>
        <pageplus>KEY_CHANNELUP</pageplus>
        <pageminus>KEY_CHANNELDOWN</pageminus>
        <mute>KEY_MUTE</mute>
        <recordedtv>KEY_EPG</recordedtv>
        <guide>KEY_SUBTITLE</guide>
        <livetv>KEY_TV</livetv>
        <video>KEY_MENU</video>
        <mymusic>KEY_AUDIO</mymusic>
        <mypictures>KEY_CAMERA</mypictures>
        <myvideo>KEY_VIDEO</myvideo>
        <liveradio>KEY_ZOOM</liveradio>
        <subtitle>KEY_TEXT</subtitle>
        <one>KEY_NUMERIC_1</one>
        <two>KEY_NUMERIC_2</two>
        <three>KEY_NUMERIC_3</three>
        <four>KEY_NUMERIC_4</four>
        <five>KEY_NUMERIC_5</five>
        <six>KEY_NUMERIC_6</six>
        <seven>KEY_NUMERIC_7</seven>
        <eight>KEY_NUMERIC_8</eight>
        <nine>KEY_NUMERIC_9</nine>

Hmm, that's weird!

I'm not sure if it's available with all RPi versions of XBMC (OpenElec, RaspbMC) but if you SSH in to a terminal and run irw (just type irw) it shouldl display each key as you press it, which should match those in my Licrmap.xml (the names in CAPS). Lircmap.xml maps those key names to the names in brackets, which are then used in remote.xml, so if the former don't match then the latter won't work.

I wonder if it's because I'm not using your RPi build, but XBMCbuntu instead....I don't have a irw command....

Quite likely. I'm afraid I've told you all I know, so you'll have to try and find someone who knows about XBMCbuntu to help you further.

Best of luck Smile
