Im scanning my music folder from a windows 7 share using smb. I have 35k songs, and its literally taken over a day so far and its only on n'sHuh?? this seems normal? Connected via wire to 100mb switch

If you have net lookups enabled, then yes it could take that long.

If you don't, it'd be done in 10 minutes or so.
