What was the solution? Maybe others do have the same problem.

btw, how Do I turn on the fanart animations? I do not see any.

Using the keyboard go to System on the homescreen and press up, choose Skin Settings. There's loads of options in there (controlling homescreen backgrounds and so on) Cool

Another couple of questions -

Does anyone know how to show the weather temp in celcius? Also, is it possible to add this to the homescreen somehow (not just at the top, but as a main option, like System, Video etc)?

This is not a skin setting it is a standard XBMC setting. Change your International Region to the correct one.

Just wondering if there is a way that I can disable something so that it doesn't take a couple of seconds to load when going back to the home screen.

The older one didn't and I don't know what was added

It does not tke 2 seconds for me but you can try turning off recently added Movies and TV Shows.

I have been busy working on a major update and need a few dedicated Rapier users to test it before I release it. Please only apply if you can test it and provide bug reports/requests.

I'll do it, I'm familiar with this skin as I have modded and tweaked it quite a bit.
